Client: Campbell Soup through Prime vendor
Position: Microsoft Azure Engineer
Location: Camden, NJ 08103 - CLIENT PREFERS ONSITE BUT HYBRID AND/OR REMOTE CAN WORK AS 2ND AND 3RD PREFERENCE.
Duration: 4-6 months contract to hire
Pay Rate: $60/hr on C2C

A Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. They work closely with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to understand their requirements, design Azure architectures, and ensure the successful deployment and operation of Azure resources.
The General Responsibilities IncludeDesigning and implementing cloud-based solutions: This involves architecting and planning the deployment of applications, infrastructure, and services on the Azure platform.
Deploying and configuring Azure services: This includes setting up virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, databases, and other resources necessary for cloud-based applications.
Monitoring and optimizing Azure resources: Monitoring the performance, availability, and security of Azure resources, and taking proactive measures to optimize their usage and cost efficiency.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues: Identifying and addressing technical issues related to Azure services, networking, or infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations of cloud-based systems.
Collaboration and documentation: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security teams, to ensure seamless integration and efficient utilization of Azure services. Documenting processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
Backup and disaster recovery: Implementing backup and recovery strategies for Azure-based applications and data, ensuring business continuity in the event of failures or disasters.
Automation and scripting: Developing automation scripts and using infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Azure Resource Manager templates, PowerShell, Azure CLI) to streamline provisioning, configuration, and management of Azure resources.
Continuous improvement: Staying updated with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices. Evaluating and recommending improvements to existing Azure solutions to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability.
